Align shortcuts with Search Screenshots - September 9, 2026

Bring Downloads Manager closer to Raycast's native Screenshots extension's "Search Screenshots" command, making common file actions and keyboard shortcuts more consistent across Raycast.

• Added a Primary Action preference to copy downloads with Enter, while keeping Open as the default.
• Added pasting the selected download to the focused app with Command+Enter on macOS or Ctrl+Enter on Windows.
• Added Open and Reveal shortcuts and switched Copy Path to Raycast's standard platform-specific shortcut.
• Organized the action menu consistently across list and grid layouts.

Fix download management reliability - August 25, 2026

• Fixed moving downloads to Trash on macOS when the Downloads folder is backed by iCloud Drive, including keeping the list accurate when only some selected items move successfully (#29951, #30503).
• Reduced memory usage while loading large Downloads folders and generating text previews to prevent worker out-of-memory crashes (#24383).

Upgrade Delete Latest Download Command - April 27, 2026

• Address #26296 by upgrading Delete Latest Download Command to support background deeplinks without focusing Raycast.
• Added Toggle Deletion Behavior command to switch between moving downloads to Trash and permanently deleting them.
• Added faster repeated deletion from Manage Downloads after confirming a move-to-Trash action once.
• Documented that background permanent deletion requires foreground approval while foreground permanent deletion still prompts every time, and that canceling foreground permanent deletion disables background permanent deletion until the next approval.
