Raycast Notes is a lightweight tool that helps you capture ideas quickly without breaking your focus. Use it to track todos, jot down meeting notes, or save thoughts as they come— all from anywhere with a single hotkey. Check out our manual for more information.

During the Windows Beta period, we’re excited to offer you full access to this feature, including unlimited notes, for free.

✨ New

• Raycast Notes: Toggles the Notes window. 🎉
• Create Note: Creates a new note and opens the window. It’s ideal to capture your thoughts with zero friction.
• Search Notes: Search all your notes by title and content, making it easy to revisit previous notes.
• Advanced Settings: Added new “Open Folders in Tabs” setting to open folders as new tabs in an existing Windows Explorer window.

💎 Improvements

• General: Added support for tooltips throughout the UI, including 3rd party extensions.
• Import Settings and Data: Importing from macOS Raycast now includes hotkeys, aliases, extensions and extension settings.
• System: “Quit All Apps Except Frontmost” command now provides clearer feedback, citing the name of the surviving app.

🐞 Fixes

• AI: Fixed AI command/mode icons not being rendered correctly.
• Export Settings and Data: Fixed a bug which caused export to fail sometimes.
• General: Fixed a bug where the window couldn’t be dragged when an alert was displayed.
• Settings: Fixed an issue where sometimes it wasn’t possible to focus the textarea by clicking on it in AI settings.
