Create beautiful desktop apps in minutes by chatting with AI. Now in private beta.
It used to be hard to make software. It took time, money, and the right talent. So a small number of companies built apps for millions of people, and everyone got the same thing.
That's changing. Anyone can create software now. But that shouldn't mean settling for something that feels worse to use. We think you deserve apps that are genuinely beautiful, deeply capable, and truly personal.
That's Glaze. Our take on creating desktop apps by chatting with AI. Apps that look, feel, and run like they belong on your Mac.
Tell Glaze what you want and it’ll build a real desktop app that lives on your computer, launches instantly, and works offline. Because it runs on your machine, it supports keyboard shortcuts, menu bar integration, file system access, and background processes. Every app is beautiful by default and personal when you want it to be. And if something isn't right, just talk to it and change it.

Glaze has a public store and private team stores. Find something close to what you need, install it, and tweak it. We've been using it internally for weeks. Our support team built a Glaze app connected to GitHub to run their entire extension review workflow. Other team members have built dozens of internal tools and personal apps. When you can shape software around how your team works, everything clicks.
We love desktop apps! We've spent six years building Raycast, one of the most loved productivity apps. Hundreds of thousands of professionals use it every day, and thousands of developers have built extensions because they want software that works exactly how they do. Glaze takes that idea further: full desktop apps, no coding required, with everything we've learned baked in. So you can create the apps you've always wanted.
Software used to be something you installed and lived with. When you can reshape them anytime, they stop being static and start adapting to you. We're excited about this new era of apps.
We're opening the private beta for Glaze today, March 4th. Mac only to start. Glaze apps will be deeply integrated with the new version of Raycast that we'll release in April. Existing Raycast users will get priority access to Glaze soon.
Stop searching for the perfect app. Start making it.
