Using the Ruler Extension
Measuring Distance
- Launch the Ruler Extension.
- A ruler overlay will appear on your screen.
- Click anywhere on the screen to select the starting point of your measurement.
- Move the cursor to the desired endpoint and click again to finalize the measurement.
- The distance between the two points will be displayed in pixels.
- Press the Esc key to exit the Ruler Extension.
Using the Shift Key
Holding the Shift Key helps you accurately position the starting and endpoint of your measurements.
- To activate that, hold the Shift key while selecting the starting or endpoint.
- Release the Shift key to deactivate the magnifier.
