Pompom making, step one. Hook your yarn, and start winding to get a pompom in a minute or so. Even a 4 year old has made pompoms this way.
Pompom making, step two. When it's big enough, tie the center tightly. For tassels, tie at one end. The 4 year old will need help tying it tightly.
Pompom making, step three. Slide off the brass pins and cut the pompom or tassel open.
Pompom or tassel is finished. Two pompom's shown, one fluffy and one not so fluffy, choose your style.
